We need your help!!!

The opportunity to do research in a space that is physically removed from the every-day, and from the source of trauma,
is invaluable.

Unfortunately, the Camargo Residency does not cover the collaborator's expenses :(

We are 7/8th of
the way towards our $3,000 goal!

You can help us continue to research healing of Puerto Rico after the horrific events of Hurricane Maria by contributing financial support.

Please donate what you can to help us make a change
through art.

WERK

STATEMENT:  We celebrate the beauty, fragility, and complexity of human existence. Our dances are full of emotional depth-from the blissful state to the darkest fear- and create joyous  & exuberant multisensorial
performance experiences that highlight the beauty of bodies in its most natural state.

WE ARE QUEER! WE LOVE BEING QUEER! WE INSIST ON OUR QUEERNESS!

Queer is an exaltation and an outlet for our aesthetic inquiries. Queer is the persistent intellectual discovery through our creativity. Queer is our commitment to be fabulously unashamed of our sexuality. Queer is finding a loving family and a safe home that celebrates diversity and help you thrive adversities. Queer is the desire to find our own truths through dance, education, and open communication. Queer is to share our stories and generate a space that welcomes yours.

We aim to expand contemporary understandings of "queer" beyond its "glitter, drag, AIDS, pop music, and fluidity of gender identities" constructs. While these aspects are vividly present in our work -they are part of who we are and how we move in and through life-, they are not the only determinant elements of our existence as Queerart makers.

Our Queerness is a reassurance to continue seeing and sensing the beauty of living despite the struggles and disappointments that we could face. Together we strive to pioneer healing of the world through the expression of art, removing the perversity and violence towards nudity by educating people and encouraging them to gain diverse perspectives of the body image, and love themselves as they are.
